    I searched around the forums and didn't find any threads with someone that has attempted this before.

    I own a HP ENVY 17t-3200 CTO Notebook PC and I am looking to find the part number for the touch screen module on the newer version of this laptop. From my intial research, it seems like the touch screen module is built into the screen so I need to buy the entire assembly. Can someone verify that this is correct?

    I believe the part I need is 736479-001 ( HP Part Surfer Link)

    Has anyone done this modification before? Will the connector be the same for the part above as my current screen? Is it possible to buy the the TouchScreen part separately?

    From looking at my order invoice and HP Part Surfer my current screen is:
    Order Invoice Description: 17.3-inch diagonal Radiance Full HD Infinity LED-backlit Display (1920x1080)
    HP Part Surfer ( A6U49AV): 668994-001

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
