Hi, i own a dv2500z and it seems to be running kinda slow on vista. I dont really like vista that much either and i'd like to install xp. Im just wondering if its possible for me to install xp but keep the option at boot to press f11 and recover into vista. Thanks

The F 11 option wont work but as long as you have burnt the recovery DVD's you should be fine installing XP and the partion is not necessary.

Yes, the recovery DVD's will put the system back to factory state.
