The wireless icon in the lower right is no longer working regardless of whether or not it's actually connected. Right now I am connected to the net (obviously), but the icon shows the computer screens with an X. Nothing I do has been able to change it.

Why would the BIOS mess that up?

Disable and enable your wireless card in the device manager?

Try repairing the connection? Re-setting up your wireless config?

I fixed it, I went and downloaded the new driver for the intel wireless. After installing, and then restarting it fixed it.
    Thanks! :)

no not neccessary, if your really happy with it then keep it that way

if you think you need the enhancements and/or fixes of the new BIOS then do so..

the BIOS importance is marked under 'routine' not 'critical'

okay i just tried this bios...

its very good, dropped my idle temps down by 6c and it also dropped my max temps a little. The fans are also much quieter, instead of going from 0 to full blast.

    I recommend this BIOS.

Though the battery life might take a small hit due to the fans being on
