    Installing 1920 screen on DV-7

    I have a 4294-nr DV-7 and I wanted to know if I can change to a 1920 screen ..is it possible? where can they be bought if so and is it easy to change ..thanks.

    I do not think it is easy to change and it will definitely void the warranty if you have any so do whatever you are doing with caution.

    Just read the service manual first and see if you are comfortable with what changing the screen entails.
    I have done it many times on different brands and takes 30 mins to an hour to do. Since you already have the 1600x900 screen full hd should just be a swap in and out (you will need to verify this first)
