Is there are step-by-step method of installing a 3rd internal wireless antenna on a DV9000T laptop?
I ordered the Gigabyte 11n Atheros card(since my Dell 1500 11n is killing my audio/video) which has 3 antennae.
The maintenance guide for DV9000T shows how to open and replace bad parts, but I was not able to find any pics or instructions as to how to install a 3rd wireless antenna to get full 11n speeds.
I don't think I will be able to add a 3rd identical antenna from HP as that require to be screwed in the LCD panel and have their dedicated place. Can I get one of the common wireless antenna off eBay and place it somewhere on the back of the LCD? Any pics will be really great.

Like I said in a similar thread earlier today it IS possible to add an external antenna to your laptop but it would require that you add an antena coaxial port to your laptop and it's rather tricky.

You can either add the antenna connector internaly, like so
    http://mtarena.blogspot.com/2006/06/...connector.html

or you can buy a usb/coaxial module but those don't come cheap.
Certain PCI network card will also contain a coaxial antenna port.
