    Hi All

    Anyone know if it would be possible to purchase and install a blueray/HDDVD drive myself when these things come down in price?

    Im assuming HP uses standard parts that can just be removed and replaced?

    Should be. HP does use standard parts. I've swapped DVD burners before.

    HD 2600 is HDCP compatible and it has HDMI. the desktop version also have some hardware rendering capability for HD editing. but im not sure if this is on the mobile version.
