    Installing Ram on HP DV9207US

    I can't find the instructions on the HP website ... anyone has a installation instruction w/ pictures if possible ?!

    Flip the laptop over. Look for the panel with an icon that looks like a RAM module on. Unscrew it. Then take out old ram and input RAM. It can only go in one way so don't worry. Screw it back up and your done.

    yup there'll 3 panels next to each other, it'll be the panel in the middle that holds the RAM

    from the video after taking out 1 stick is the other stick just lying right beneath the other one ?! (they only take out 1 stick in the video)

    well if your laptop has two sticks of RAM then yes one stick is under the other, but if it has only one then you're only going to find one slot taken up.

    thanks installed it .. not too bad just 2 screws .. i'd say easier than installing on a desktop ...

    vista gave a 4.5 score before, everything was 4.6 except for ram

    after installing got a 4.6 .. everything went up to 4.6 but the video went up to 4.7 !!!!

    (also did a install for a dell m1210 .. now that one was a little bit trickier had to remove keyboard but still wasn't too bad)
