    Hi.

I'm new in the forum. I'm from Guatemala (my firts language is spanish, and my english...not so good).

I have this Laptop, HP ZV5000 (P4 3.06 Ghz,512DDR, Ati mobility 9100,broken screen but using an LCD monitor

I want to know if I can install Win 7 without much problem. But I want to use the LCD monitor and the video conector (S-Video) at the same time. With the latest driver of Ati (from HP) , I can't use both at the same time.

    Thanks for any help.

Sorry for my english,or if this is not the section for this question.

With the old processor and lack of RAM, I would not recommend Windows 7 for that system.

You could, but unless you need to get rid of your current OS, I'd stick with whatever you have (xp?)

For Windows 7 I would try the Upgrade Advisor, you can get it here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/upgrade-advisor

As for using S-Video and the VGA out at the same time, Windows 7 is not going to help. In other words, your not going to be able to use both at the same time, even using Windows 7.

Most laptops with multiple outputs are set up to only use one of the external connections at a time.
