For some reason Intel AMT on my 8510p is reporting that it's disabled. Do any of you guys know how to turn it back on, should it be on? Could this be causing my audio problem? The audio problem btw, is that I have no audio even though the drivers are updated and it's not mute. However, I know the speakers work because they made beeps when I was installing XP pro.

In XP that audio problem can happen if the Windows Audio service isn't started, don't know about Vista though.

I have XP pro. So could this be my problem and how can I get it to start? Audiosrv.dll is in the system32 folder if that helps.

Hit Windows Key + R, then type in services.msc and press enter. Scroll down to Windows Audio, right click on it, choose Properties, and make sure the startup type is Automatic, and then Stop the service, then Start it again.

I also had the Intel AMT warning bug me like crazy. I googled it and apparently it's only really useful if you're in a large corporation with major networks and stuff (?) So I just disabled it :p

Not sure about the audio problem though--fine under Vista. Maybe lungboy or someone else with XP can help?
