Hello,
I recently ordered a dv1000 and had noticed that they had changed the option from "Intel Extreme Graphics" to "Intel Extreme Graphics 2 with productivity ports." I know that productivity ports are basically a s-video port and the card reader, but I was wondering if there was any real difference in performance or is it just some more Intel BS? I'm not really expecting much as I'm not going to be using this for gaming , that's why I have a good desktop comp. This will be my first laptop and I decided on the dv1000 because it's combination of features, weight, style, and price are all very attractive. Plus the majority of reviews and comments I've read about this model have been quite positive with not really that many negative points. I also checked out a model at a local bestbuy which basically sealed the deal for me. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the month.
Also any suggestions on some good-but-not-too-expensive laptop backpacks would be appreciated.

the difference between intel extreme graphics 1 and 2 makes a difference but basically it still doesn't play games the greatest...however it is a big upgrade as the original intel extreme graphics was really bad for games.
Intel Extreme Graphics...2?
