I just bought a dv4-1114nr, with the t5800 intel cpu.

I tried so many different CPU monitoring programs, but EVEREST is the only one that shows a changing CPU temp. All the other ones, show a constant CPU temp, which is definately wrong.

After going through NBR's undervolting guide, the core temperatures on HWMonitor didn't even change after starting the full cpu load simulator program, but rather the "THRM" reading under ACPI changed from 40C to 74C. So apparently, the "THRM" reading is my CPU temp. Can anyone provide details on this?

Is this chip too new to be recognized by these hardware monitoring software? For now, I'm going to use my "THRM" temp as my CPU temp to finish my undervolting.
