I bought a DM4 from Costco and really like the computer except that the wireless card dosent recieve 5GHz. (broadcom)

I order a new DM4T and a Envy 14 with the "Intel Wireless-N Card with Bluetooth"

With that card will I be able to recieve 5GHz?

Is the Intel Wireless-N Card with Bluetooth dual band that comes in the Envy 14 and DM4T?

Or can somebody the has either unit with the Intel Wireless with bluetooth tell me what card it is??

    thanks for the help

Have you looked at Intel.com to see their product offerings?

    It's all laid out there.

Not sure, but I believe the Envy 14 wireless N card is the same as the wireless N card in the Envy 15, which I can use with my dual band 5 GHz router with no problem.

Check your service guide for your model

Check the wlan section...you could pretty much almost guess what going to be installed.

From the looks of it, the only Intel offering is Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 802.11a/b/g/n 2×2 WLAN module.
