Hello people,
I own V2405US with sempron 3000+ processor and as you know I did not customize any bluetooth when I bought it, and now thinking of having one in which internal one will be nice. (since I hate to see the dongle poping out from my lappy's USB.
is this can be done? is there any pci like bluetooth internal for laptop?
any opinions will be appreciated, thank you.

If you can get HP to sell you the Bluetooth module at a tolerable price then in theory it can be done. The service guide documents the procedure. In practice I haven't heard from anyone who's tried it. See http://partsurfer.hp.com to check price and availability.

or else you can buy one of those PCMCIA bluetooth cards which sits flush into slot.

It is mini pci slot, any mini pci card that has wireless and bluetooth should do the trick.

I don't have first hand experience with plugging mini-pci cards in HPs/Compaqs. However, I would love for someone to try it, and prove the above correct or wrong. -

Plus HP uses internal USB Bluetooth modules, which made it easy to get Bluetooth working under Linux btw. They only use the miniPCI slot for WiFi.
fill2k is correct about BIOS whitelist. I found out about it the hard way. HP's documented reason for it is that the FCC made them do it, never mind that nobody else does. AFAIK it's still there. -
Thank you guys, for replying my thread..
so what this is actually coming to, I cannot add that PCI bluetooth think? or I can but only can be done if I order it tru HP? if so could you tell me the order number or part number and how much can I buy that from hp? -
Check the Maintenance and Service Guide.
