This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Internet connection breaks when dv7t connected.

    I am at a friends house and whenever I connect to his Linksys router (ethernet or wireless), after about 10 minutes the connection just drops and I have to restart the router. The laptop has never had this problem at my house, so I guess it is something to do with the router. He always has 2 computers connected and they always work fine.
