I just reinstalled 64 bit vista home premium on my computer. I then immediately installed CCleaner and did a registry scan, here are the registry errors found:
Unused File Extension .DVR HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.DVR
Unused File Extension .rar HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.rar
Unused File Extension OpenWithList HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\OpenWithList
Then I installed the system with 32 bit vista home premium and did the CCleaner again, no registry errors are found. I don't know if this is one of the many symptoms of 64 bit system, because I've had many small problems here and there that become really annoying. Should I stick with my current 32 bit system by sacrificing 1gb of RAM for a peace of mind?

Those registry errors are just file extensions, not a big deal at all.
.DVR is for Windows Media Center
.RAR is for WinRAR or Zip program
The file associations are broken from installing/uninstalling/disabling programs and services
I actually get these re-occuring registry errors even on 32bit
Is 64bit vista system more cluttered than 32bit?
