Did HP just trick envy's users ?
-
-
Well they do say it's an "audio profile" right on the HP site, not different software.
-
"Audio Beats internal stereo speakers"
-
You would kind of be silly to think Dr. Dre had anything to do with it.... I mean unless he's called a Dr. because he has a PHD in computer sciences, from what I've heard his degree is in optometry, which doesn't have anything to do with computers or sound quality.
-
I never did, I was already kinda suspecting when first tweaking my computer
-
Where is that on their site? I don't see it.
http://www.hp.com/united-states/campaigns/beats/envy_15.html Its not anywhere on the BEATS promo page. -
They don't update the commercial sites anymore and don't look at the Beats Edition, I'm talking about every envy.
It's said on the information page at the shopping site -
The software is definitely IDT with theme. The speaker itself is beats branded because there's a logo printed on side.
-
So if I get a pair of iPod earbuds and put on Beats designs, would that make a Beats earbuds...
-
If you have paid Dr. Dre to put that logo on. It's just a name.

SecretAsianMan Notebook Consultant
Dr. Dre personally assembles each unit, and then tests it out by making mad beats with it.
-
LOL @ secretasianman
The speakers are the same, it's been tested before by reviewers. You just get the really cool color scheme, the headphones, and some extra djing software -
Dre physically put together each Beats branded HP Envy
-
The software might be IDT, but the speaker could be from Dr Dre. eheh
The spec said
Audio Beats internal stereo speakers
like the headset, made by MOnster with "Beat" TM on it -
Yeah his degree is in optometry. Family guy is correct as usual
-
Lol. He has no degree in anything.
Is Envy Beats Audio really come from Dr.Dre ( I don't believe so)
