    Is HP Pavilion dv6 7000 for games?

    I bought this laptop especially for games
    the seller told me it has the best graphics card
    so is it really good for games or not?
    I got the core i5 not i7

    Use this auto detect tool from HP it will let you know what model it is and what are its specs, so you can post them.

    Well, it depends which GPU your model has. It could be Intel HD 3000 (w/ SB CPU), Intel HD 4000 (w/ IB CPU), NVIDIA GT 630M, or NVIDIA GT 650M.

    the auto detect tool says it's unavailable
    but I got the laptop case here and it says on it Pavilion dv6-7000se
    and the Graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 2GB

    The 630m is a low midrange GPU. It's decent for games if you play at 720p, but nowhere near the "best graphics card". If the salesman said that then you got lied to and should probably get a refund.

    in here (Egypt) they say it's the highest graphics card
    I tried to play SWTOR and the laptop became very hot, is this normal?

    I found a Sony Vaio laptop with Nvidia 520
    is it better or should I keep my HP laptop?

    Where do you live and how much did you buy it for? The HP is better than the Sony, but you might be able to get something even better.

    i got a dv7t-7000, with stock paste I'm hitting 80C-85C GPU, and 95C on CPU. Seems a little hot.

    I live in Egypt Cairo
    I bought the laptop with 6000 Egyptian Pounds + 300 cause I added 4gb rams which made it 8 gb rams now
    the store I bought the laptop from is called compu me, the laptop i bought is the best this store had
    I don't think I can return it and take back the money because I used the laptop already :(

    I found Dell Inspiron 5110 with core i7 and 1gb nvidia but they couldn't tell me which nvidia card it has, so I will go in an hour to see it
