I hadn't really given much consideration to an HP laptop until recently.

Are the deals that are currently being offered on dv4t and dv5t really good or does it just seem that way to me because I just starting tracking them.

For example $250 off on an $800 dv5t appears to buy a machine with:

    Window Home Premium
    T5800 Core 2 Duo Processor
    Mid level dedicated NVIDIA graphics
    3 GB RAM
    250GB Hard drive
    DVD R/W

A comparable Dell Studio will cost ~$700.

I've heard that using coupons can cancel the Live cashback.
