    Gang I don't know a way to find this except reading endless reviews and hoping for answers. Are any of the current HP netbooks/notebooks shipping with Matte non-glossy display panels? the old low end mini 110 had, but I see none in any of the popular models today.

    The HP DV6t offers the 1920x1080 matte display.

    You have to make sure you get the upgrade to the 1920x1080 anti-glare display (which you should be getting anyway if you get this laptop regardless of the matte/glossy finish, because 1366x768 [default screen res] is too low of a resolution for a 15.6" screen)

    Elitebooks also have them as options and/or as standard. Plus Elitebooks have 3 year warranty as standard.

    If you buy an Elitebook, go with smart buy preconfigured units to save a lot. You can also buy them from Cost Central or Provantage at discounted prices. and there is no sales tax with these sellers unless you live in their state.

    As far as the consumer side goes, the dv6t is the only one I know that ships with a matte display. Generally speaking, matte displays usually mean business laptops (Probook/Elitebook, Thinkpads, Latitude and Precision).
