Hi, all.
I have a Compaq Presario v2000. I'd like to reassign some of the function keys to things I actually could use.
The Quick Launch Buttons program doesn't allow reassignment of the FN keys (it allows reassignment of "media keys", which this NB doesn't have).
I've Googled and searched here, but couldn't find anything. I'm hoping someone knows of a workaround or regedit so that I can reassign a couple of the keys. Thanks.

Thanks for all the info in responses. I kind of assumed that given the lack of any info. There were a couple of sites that referred to remapping the fn keys, but it sounds like they were for specific computer networks.

Those are BIOS based, so they cannot be remapped. sucks even more for people whose CTRL and FN keys are switched to FN-CTRL-Windows key instead of CTRL-Fn-Windows key.
