    Is dv2600t hot?

    I intend to buy a new dv2600t but I don't know is it too hot?

    It gets warm just like any other laptop. Buy a cooling pad and you should be ok

    I find that uplugged it stays cooler (probably because I have the HDD turn off after a few mins and the CPU running at 800mHz, instead of full throttle) so its definitely lap-able. With it plugged in and doing normal tasks, its hot, but not uncomfortable. If you were to play a game with it on your lap though, it'd be WAYYY to hot.

    Its not too hot and any other laptop will be the same when doing similar tasks.
