the graphic sucks it is just like playstation 1 !!

I have installed latest graph. card update but still the same

so was wondering if can replace the 8400 GS
    with 512 8600 or 8800 ??

No, your 8400M GS is soldered to the mainboard.

If you are able to find the other mainboard which is usually a diffucult task. The 8600m gs isn't that much stronger, might as well upgrade your motherboard.

Sure, if you can find the mainboard from a Dv6700 that has a 8600M GS. Honestly, I don't think it's worth the investment for such a small gain in performance.

You can't upgrade your video card. Period.

The highest video card option for the HP Pavilion dv6700t was the 8400M GS, which is what you have. There is no motherboard with the 8600M GS (or any other card) for this notebook, the 8600M GS was offered only for the 17" version - dv9700t.

As to the FIFA 2009, it's not exactly a demanding game, and it should be playable on any card, even on integrated just at lower settings.
