The price now is quite attractive for $750 with Memorial Day code. But I heard HP will update DV6 on June 20. Not much details about update is available now.

Do you guys think it's worth waiting? Or shall I wait for the Independence Day promotion which is after the update? I want to have a new one before end of July, maybe back to school deal is too late for me?

    Thanks guys.

Stuck in that spiral again. Bite the Memorial Day sale now, or wait till Independence Day sale. If you're going to wait that long, might as well gamble and wait for the Back to School sale and hope they'll have a free Xbox 360 for purchasing a $700+ laptop.

That's what I'm wondering too. I know the envy is supposed to get a refresh so maybe that's what the op meant.

Does that mean that HP will cancel partnership with Beats Audio? In the video I could barely see that it had Dolby Digital logo on speakers.
Edit: Altec Lansing speakers are coming back :( (switched to 720p video quality)

I say you should wait until Trinity comes out.

I'm hoping it'll be worth the wait :p
