    gpuz doesnt detect its speed, gpuz does fine on my other dv6t with same graphic card.

    ran uniengine heaven dx11 benchmark , and i only get 9-10 fps ;-(

    oh thats a relief to hear, but how come my other identical dv6 actually shows 725mhz?

    Mine shows as it should... not sure why yours doesnt.. Maybe it has something to do with the driver version... update to 11.5b and try again... I got a feeling the driver is why you get such pitiful benchmark scores.. nothing on your GPUz is as it should be.

    i was able to get it to show proper speed, when i went into BIOS and turned the option to fixed mode , but i am still getting terrible fps, 9-10, in the heaven benchmark.

    i dl my driver fromt he hp website, and i noticed that your driver is different, i've just dled CCC 11.7 from AMD website, but it still doesnt show the updated driver, can you point me to the correct driver that i should be using?

    Ive experienced better performance using 11.5b over 11.7 here is a link

    AMD Catalyst? 11.5b hotfix

    I am downloading that benchmark, ill let you know what I get

    does it work fine in other 3D apps?

    i wouldn't really consider heaven to be anything important

    Is your other dv6 a 60xx or 61xx. The 61xx series won't show the gpu correctly unless you follow the tutorial in my signature. The over clock part is up to you.
