I shut down my laptop in the evening right after I watched "Taxi Driver" on DVD. I remember I did unable the DMA, but it required a reboot, so I am sure the laptop worked after that.
On the next day the laptop won't start up. When I push the power button I can see all the leds to light up. Moreover I can hear the CPU fan starting, but the laptop just goes dead right after that. I do not even hear the regular start-up beep.

    HELP!!!

I would go ahead and call tech support. Sounds like you may have to send it back in for repairs or replacement. Good luck!

    Doesn't sound promising, but...

I ran into vaguely something similar when I accidently left the system on while off AC and the battery drained completely. Try charging it and see if that helps (assuming it wasn't on AC).

Also, try taking the battery out for a few momments. I seem to recall another weird issue being solved by that once upon a time.

    Good luck.
