    I have a dv6575us, is possible to exchange the optical drive for a blu-ray player ?

    If yes, wich brand/model ?

    I was able to install bluray drive (Optiar BD-5500s) in my DV5T laptop. I got this Bluray drive from my other DV7T. I am sure you can order bluray drive as part from HP. Check serial number from HP service manual for your laptop.

    HP will sell the drive for more. You can buy it aftermarket and save.

    That and you should be able to buy them from Newegg as well...
    Right now, the BDROM drives are $300
