First of all I am new to this forum message and have a question about the AC Adapter for my Compaq Presario M2000 Series laptop?? My laptop is M2105CA and you notice with " CA " stand for Canadian. I have to get a replacement AC Adapter for my laptop because the other is broken. Now when I got the adapter and plug into my laptop and noticed that the tip of plug and the adapter is hot before cool down. My question is that " Is that normal or not " Please advise about this before get worse with this part. Looking forward to have some answer about this.

    Thank you,

OK when you touch the tip of the plug and felt hot also the adapter itself is warm too.

Its not normal if you notice that the tip of adapter show sign of black Burn. Or it's to hot to touch.

It's too hot to touch the tip of the plug but when charging the battery is done then the tip is not hot at all. Strange!
