I see there is a 15% off coupon that HP offers. Is this a rare thing to happen or are there better coupons? Reason I ask is that it expires in 4 days. If there are better coupons then I will wait. If this is a rare thing then I will most likely buy my dv2000t tommorow

Also does the 15% off coupon stack with the $100 off instant savings and the $50 mail in rebate? How about the student discount?

    Thanks everyone!

The 15% off coupon can't be combined with the $100 off instant savings. However, it will work with the $50 mail-in-rebate.
I would say that every two months you see either a 15% off coupon or a $200 instant saving offer.
    Good luck.

Same with the APP. The APP price will work with the $100 instant savings but it won't work with the 15% coupon.
During the checkout process, the sytem will use either the 15% off coupon or the APP + $100 instant savings; whichever it's higher.
I just placed an order early today and the 15% off coupon saved me $220 compared to the APP + $100 instant savings which came out to $190.
I used the 15% off coupon.

Hmmm a 200 instant rebate on the dv2000t would be fantastic... but does the 50 mail in rebate come with that too?

Yes, the $50 mail-in-rebate usually work with any kind of instant savings or coupons.

I would say that the 15% off coupon will save you more money than the APP + $100 instant savings together on any order over $1250.
