    Is the Envy 14 truly all aluminum or is it aluminum clad?

    Aluminum with magnesium core - there's no plastic as far as I know.

    If its anything liek the ENVY13, then the quality will be good. I practically tortured the demo one at Frys, pressing everywhere I could possibly press to test its durability factor. They just dont make the other HPs the way they used to make 'em. My old dv2610us from 2007 (which still runs strong) is wayyyyy more durable, unflexible, etc, than EVERY HP at the store (BB, staples, Frys, etc), save for the ENVY13 which was made of that metal stuff, and the G62. Both were really hard tho, almost like the macbooks.

    hmm $999 is for the 1366x768 is kind of disappointing, I was hoping the 1600x900 would be in the $999 price. If it's only like another $150 I might get it anyway.
