It is the main software site I use and so if there are benefits, then Vista 64 it is

There are some very minor benefits -- and I'm not entirely sure what they are. When you install Office 2007, the installer automatically checks to see if you have a 64-bit OS and installs a few x64-specific files if it finds one. I'm not entirely sure what those files do, but I would assume that the dlls control things like database access, etc. So, yes, Office 2007 is slightly x64 enhanced, but probably not in any way that you would actually notice.

Wish someone at work had a copy of 2007 I could get like I did 2003 lol. I just refuse to give them 100s of more dollars for it.

You can get a Student and Home edition for $149 that has everything most people need except Outlook. They ditched Outlook because Vista has a pretty good email program built-in and added OneNote in its place. The license is good for activation on up to 3 systems.

    NewEgg has it for $130.

I've been using a two month trial of it, and love it. I'll be purchasing the full version once my trial is up.

At least 15% of every business person's skills are "outlook management." :) If someone makes a better, fully-compatible program I'll take it, because Outlook does have issues (at least in Office 2003).
