Is there a cheaper place to find replacement batteries?

I'm looking forward to buying the HP Compaq 2230s soon this year, but I'm not happy with the default battery that comes with it. For the constant moving around university kid, I can't always be lucky to find an outlet. HP website's got an 8-cell at $159

Could buy a 6-cell for another model notebook off ebay for cheap and transplant the 18650 cells (3.7V, typically 2200ma but sometimes 2600ma) if you're handy with a soldering iron. The battery pack for consideration would need to have a voltage multiple of 3.7V, eg: 11.1V@6600ma = 3x18650 cells tied 2 in parallel. The higher capacity would be 11.1V@7800ma.

Thanks. That seems to be the cheapest place so far. The other sites didn't have the battery listed and I guess I'd expect to shell out at least $100 for an 8-cell.
