I use my computer plugged to the AC adapter most of the times, so I don't have a need to have the battery in the laptop at all times. But I'm afraid that might let the internal components vulnerable to dust and stuff like that, so I want to use something to keep that compartment covered. Has anybody know if there is such a thing?

not as far as i know... they should create dummy's for the battery and optical bay for lightweight

if it makes u feel any better, ive pulled apart my notebook and didnt notice any dust build up from the holes in the battery bay and i have a notebook cooler which blows in that direction
