I have a dv6700t and I'm watching a lecture on Youtube but the sound is really low. The volume level is already set to max but it's still very low. Is there an application or something else that can enhance the volume level?

You can icnrease the volume level by checking the Loudness Equalization check box (turning it on) in the Sound Panel.

You can either open the Sound Panel from the Control Panel or by Right Clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray and select Playback Devices.

    Reference Attachments:

    - From the Sound Playback menu select Speakers, Properties
    - Select the Speakers Properties Enhancements Tab
    - Uncheck ALL sound effects but Check Loudness Equalization
    - OK your way back to the Desktop

This makes a significant increase in the volume level on my dv6775us notebook. Let us know how it works for you.
