    Is there any DVI port on laptops?

    I've heard some HP models have DVI port... is it correct ? if yes , which model has this port?

    All one needs is an HDMI to DVI cable.

    Many higher end models have HDMI - you can get a HDMI -- DVI cable if you plan on using an external monitor with DVI

    I hooked up my HP DV7T to my Dell 2408WFP using HDMI to DVI adaptor and it worked fine at 1920x1200 resolution. Now I wish my Apple Macbook Pro also had an HDMI port. But the Macbook Pro makes up for it by having a dual-link DVI port.
