i have the same problem i have visited all sorts of websites and they all tell me a different thing
the Kingston site has our computer listed DV9203TX and recommends the pc2 5300, DDR2, sodimm 200pin 667mhz
    however
    the corsair website ( http://www.corsairmemory.com) reccommends the pc2 4200, DDR2, Sodimm 200pin 533mhz

i dont know what to do either
the HP website is completely useless
i think i will end up going with the kingston only because i have heard of them before and bought kingston RAM before or i will take the laptop to a computer shop and get them to tell me

i am really annoyed as well
