    Hello everybody,

First of all, I have a HP DV6 with 6770m videocard.

Four or five official & leschat drivers releases ago, my videocard drivers are dissabling by themself and sometimes, I get bluescreens when I boot the laptop. I really don't know why.

I mean, when I reboot or I boot my notebook, it everything seems to be ok but I notice that laptop fans are working when they shouldn't. The fact was that the drivers had been disabled because of some reason and Intel power saving card did not work till I enabled the screen driver again. (Intel power saving card is cooler than ati card, so I work with it when I am not playing games)

Here you have the disabled driver after booting the laptop.

There is the "enabling" option for Ati driver.

So, why is sth dissabling my ati drivers when I boot? It doesn't happen everytime, sometimes it boots okey. I think it must be related with the bluescreens.

Thanks and sorry about my poor english!

What version of ATI GPU software are you using? I found on my own that my AMD drivers up to 12.10 is stable but trying to go 13.1 or higher I get BSOD and sudden restarts. So for me there is stability problems with the 13 versions. So go back to 12.10 version and see if that doesn't stabilize your system.

12 versions were stable for me. But I would like to have updated drivers! :D

I have tested, Leshcat, stock AMD drivers and another one I have found in guru3d webpage.

I get bluescreens in all of them.

I don't knock them but for AMD to mess up the GPU software so much to me is nothing from Nvidia doing but their own. Unless you want real gaming I would say stick with 12.10 until you know for sure there is no BSOD in your performance. I know going backto 12.10 is a downgrade but I rather have a stable platform then BSOD gaming or going BSOD when just using the computer. Just like you said I did those as well and to all P.O. at the results and rebooted to the last working image that had 12.10 drivers and haven't looked back.
