When will HP release there new line of Pavilion's? I just want a raw idea because I am so curious. Seems like everyone is releasing high end Cpu will they? And will they finally have a lineup to compete with XPS? XPS is getting alot of sales especially the M1330. The Inspiron 1520 is running circles around the Dv6500T.

No one knows. And even if they did, they wouldn't be able to release it as it is highly confidential, private knowledge.

Today's line of HP laptops is very sophisticated comparing to competitors. I don't see a real reason for HP to change it in the near future. They say they gonna start x6xx series but those are based on x5xx series and will only have upgraded processors and video cards. I think the real new model will come up in mid-2008.

HP did recently release the dv65XX line a few months ago for Intel, with the AMD release only a few weeks ago. I'd be shocked to see new models (besides Verve) any time soon. As for Dell's XPS line, HP has never been interested in combining gaming into their multimedia-oriented lineup. That is why they bought Voodoo.
