First of all, i know people would complain why didnt i search the forums for my questions and there are over 99 pages how am i suppose to search through that, i dont have time to waste nor bandwith to waste, so if you are not happy i didnt search please GET OUT of my thread, no apologizing for NOT searching

So i ordered Envy 14 but ended getting up Envy 14 beast edition with First Generation Core i7 Extreme Edition ( 8 cores not 4 ) , 640 GB 8GB ram and Slice battery with HP Travel adapter inside the case - please how much is that ?

    My Main Question is :
I want to stop using my MacBook Air and use Envy but am used to scrolling up and down with two fingers and i cant seem to do it on my Envy even when i activated its settings to do so, the synaptics clickpad is V 7.5 the vertical scrolling does NOT work but the horizontal scrolling works, so i enabled the dedicated scrolling place but stil it does NOT work so instead i use page up and page down which is less than convinent and annoying because it over scrolls down, and i know i can scroll by going to the scroll bar but thats annoying, i browse a lot, i cant be moving between the scroll bar ad my content, plus i have tons of pdf books i read
So please is there a solution to this, making it work,

Secondly, i dont want to a dedicated single click and right click i know its integrated into the clickpad but i cant find a way to switch if off, is there a way to do that and use the dedicated areas for normal use?
And if i do so, i would like to enable right clicking by tapping using two fingers like in MacBooks so i use the dedicated button for normal use if i want to single click i use a finger to right click i use double fingers.
Please can someone write a code for me if this is not available

Lastly, i visited a page of the forums and i downloaded envy trackpad and two finger scroll whats the settings of the envy trackpad again, i want it in pictures please

    -
    Thanks

I posted a reply to your exact post in the touchpad thread. It would really help to actually read the threads you post in >_>

If you did what was in the touchpad thread, you'd have a touchpad that acts exactly the way you described.

forget about the touchpad, I basically gave up and just settled with one-finger scrolling. anything involving more than two fingers is asking too much from the envy.

I'm perfectly happy with the scrolling on mine using Reil's touchpad app and with the driver settings at 1 line at a time.

    My settings:

    Speed - 100
    Acceleration - Off
    Maximum z threshold - 100
    Delta ratio threshold - 50

    Inertial
    Easing algorithm - easeInOutQuart
    Duration - 1000

I've got two finger tap set to right click, though I never use it.

Single tap interval threshold - 75
Maximum finger travel distance - 16
    Maximum w threshold - 15
    Maximum z threshold - 100

And I've got three finger scroll set to Aero Flip, which is fun, though it gets a bit jerky at times, to be fair.

OP, go to this thread. It's the money thread. I went the route of installing touchpad locker and using reil's touchpad software. Works like a charm. Two-finger scrolling is smooth as mutter, very much like the Macbook's.

    Just my $0.02.
