    Just Ordered the Zx5000

    It's been about two days and still waitin on shipping confirm. Thanks to all who helped, and Quik I hope you're love for your machine is accurate [ :)] I essentially copied my specs to yours seeing as the price and power, combined with the battery life seemed to meet my needs exactly.

    and now the mindless waiting.. and it said it would be shipped by May 24th (yikes)

    My love for my machine is accurate for me. Now, hopefully you will be in agreement with me on that, but we will have to wait for it to arrive to see about that.

    I've been the owner of a zx5000 for about a month now...Specs basically identical to Quikster's.

    I couldn't be happier with my purchase--I feel I got a lot of bang for my buck by going with HP over other laptop manufacturers.

    (Hope I'm still this happy a year from now!)

    Can't remember exactly, but I do know that my computer shipped early...I think estimated ship time was about three weeks away when I originally placed the order, but my computer actually arrived in little over a week.

    I did order my computer through costco.com, so I don't know if this makes a difference one way or another.

    Ordered a CTO ZD7000 on the 26th from HP.com, Est delivery date is May,5th to USA, MD.

    Left SHANGHAI CN April 30th. I used the free shipping.

    I never expected it so soon.

    Got it, not so big... Well yea a little, you cannot hide it.
    It fits in my simulated 19.95 leather laptop bag from SAM's club.

    No bad pixels as far as I can see, screen is beautiful. WSXGA

    Specs are 3.2HT, 256RAM, 40GB HD, 128 Go5700

    Temps in Fahrenheit: room temp 72, laptop left side vent 87-92 at idle, 98 during ghosting.
