I was so excited after my purchase I thought I'd have to come tell some people about it. Got a great deal on a Presario v2718wm: $625 with free shipping. Anybody else have this model? If so, reply and tell me what you think about it.

You might want to play a DVD through with it on your lap, test that its able to be used on your lap. HP/Compaq warns that their laptops are not to be used on your lap. That way you can still send it back before its too late (30 day return policy i believe). some of them cause burn injury.

Well, that's why they're called notebooks. Anyone can get burns from any company. And that's the V2000 series. I've comfortably used it on my lap for quite a while. God forbid someone used a Clevo D900K/T, or M590K on their lap. Their legs would be burnt, and flattened by all the weight.
