Update the BIOS to F.1A if you want to enable fixed mode graphics switching.

MSI Afterburner does work, yes, you will need to update the config file BEFORE running it.

There's a sticky in this forum that has a listing of BIOSes, you should see it in there, the link will take you to the download and instructions.

is that the one that you are using right now?
we have the same hp dv6 i7 sandy bridge with 6770m though.
what are the changes on the latest bios mate?

by the way my cpu is running 93c max and gpu running 88c max on crysis2 max setting. gpu overclocked at 800/950
    isn't that normal?

Yes it is normal, but it isnt healthy for your cpu/gpu. Try to keep it below 85c by disabling turbo boost / or use a laptop cooler. It wont have much of a performance hit for crysis 2.

It should be the one I am using. It enables fixed mode switching for the video card and fixes a bug that people were having with battery charging.

That's sort of hot. I would set Coolsense to Coolest mode for gaming.

Thank you for your advice guys.
May i know how to set the laptop mood to coolsense?
By the way i never hit bellow 40fps crysis 2 on high settings.
But the fan blowing like a jetplane lol.
    Damn loud and insanely hot.
I will try to get my laptop cooler, update bios and might be thinking of repasting the thermal paste on the cpu and gpu :)
Btw how hot is your temps during gaming and furmark guys?
    During clocked at 800/950 maybe?
    :)
