ANy idea how the screen looks without it? I saw a similar model, it's about a year old, it has a 1.8 pentium M chip. The screen looked faded.

I didn't get Brightview because I don't like the glossy reflections, but if the screen is faded maybe I should switch to brightview.

Any impressions, screenshots etc? Please let me know, thanks!!

It is a typical matte screen.

Suggest you go to a local store to see for yourself as screen preferences are a very personal thing. If you don't like reflections a glossy screen is not the way to go.

I got just rid of a unit with a glossy screen for one with a matte screen.

HOT DEAL !!!! $500 after $100 HP mail in rebate. This unit being priced normally at $975

I am just afraid the matte screen won't look that good. I wish there was a way to see a new HP matte screen without buying one online. EVrey store int eh area now only displays glossy. :(
