My envy arrived today, and wow is all I can say this laptop is amazing. Everything works great no design flaws or defects...but I noticed unplugging it for the first time the windows battery thing said 1 hour and 10 mins remaining which scared me to be honest because I thought something was wrong. I looked into it and saw that its not actually correct and you have more battery then it reads. I downloaded battery bar and it reads about 4 hours my question is will it last that long or is there a bios fix ??? if anyone could get back to me soon that would be great, i guess i will use it on battery life as well right now and see how long it goes for.

The windows battery meter is wrong. Has to do with the BIOS. Battery bar will give you the correct reading but it takes a few full cycles for it to start giving accurate readings.
No BIOS fix yet. -
Depending on usage, I normally get about 4+ with light web usage and document editing.

Random question. If the new release envy came around in less than 3 weeks - which means than you still can return and get full refund - would you do it and get the new envy instead?

just a quick question for the op, assuming your laptop came through FedEX, was your fedex tracking estimation correct or am i looking at a day before and a day after the estimation?

Crossing our fingers hoping F.24 bios update that some users are getting flashed to when sending in for warranty work will fix this issue soon...

If the beats doesn't get a refresh, maybe a design change that looks even way better and a HD display on the regular envy might tempted me to exchange it.
I know the specs gonna be massive tho, an i7-2620m and 6750m is the most probable.
Oh yeah when did you order you envy? Did it got any delay or whatsoever? Because I'm just gonna order one now -
Just got my Envy 14 beats edition
