Was surfing online and found this great deal and got it. I was going to build her one, but this comes with all the sweet extras. I priced it out on HP.com and it was just shy of $1100!

Can't wait for her to open it up on christmas day! This will be a new computer for college for her.

Did I make the right choice? Better yet, did I get a good deal?

    Thanks!

wow, thats a sweet good deal. Would have costed way more customizing it at hp. It has 120gb, and 2gb ram too.. I placed my order through costco on the 29th.. the build date was today.. but i still have not heard from them. I dont have 2gb's though.. only 512, and 100gb ram.. i paid 1180. Ill put the ram in myself

The Costco CTO deal is actually more expensive, it comes out to $963 before $50 MIR.

Although the DV9000 is nice, it would be a tad large for her, lol.

yfzcentral, thanks to you post i just got the best deal, that i could ever find at this moment. Since last week i ordered the a V3000z CTO from hp.com and the price cam up to $786. So after i went to the link and saw the computer i decided to get it and cancel my hp.com order. So today i went to my local Bestbuy store and hope fully i got the last one they had, because i just checked online and they are sold out.
