    OH yea!!! just received my dv7 and finished doing the minimal system recovery. So far it amazes me how great this screen is and so far how great the computer runs!

    My only question really is why are some of my icons looking pixelated? Is it because they are not at a higher resolution compared to the screen?

    probably that they're low-res icons. did you change the size? if you set them to larger size, they'll become pixelated.

    also - go to device manager and ensure the video card drivers are installed properly. and just for good measure, go to the hp site, and download the most recent drivers available.
