everything is great, so far. But, I did want to get some feedback on the fan noise. The one that stays on all the time definitely has a noticeable hum that is always there when there is no background noise, and is still somewhat noticeable even with moderate background noise. It's not that big of a deal for me, but I wanted to see if that was generally what other people were experiencing before I disregard it. If not, I would consider doing something about, especially if there were any options other than mailing it back to HP?? Thanks.

I'm not sure what you would consider loud, but I can barely hear mine.

Well, I recently tried a R4000 and the fan on that was very quiet compared to this one (difficult to hear without putting your ear to the keyboard). It's hard to explain the level of noise. It's probably equivalent to a whispered conversation, not too loud but you definitely notice it. The other thing that seems to be more noticeable today is the keyboard has a slight vibration in the area above the running fan. Any thoughts?

I'm also noticing today that the keyboard and exhaust are pretty cool (they were pretty warm before today). Maybe the fan is running faster than normal? How would I check that?
