All for 1200 taxes in. Great price. I was tired of waiting for the asus to come in.
Did I make the right decision?

Good alternative, theres the fairly comparable 1420 as well.

1420 = unprofessional dell sales/support reps (don't know their products), sub-par build quality, no lightscribe, no fingerprint scanner, no HDMI, bulky and heavy, and I don't fancy the look.

I'm probably going to order a DV2500t with the following specs:
T7500
2GB Ram
8400M GS
160GB HDD
High Capacity Battery, etc
However, thanks to a coupon, it's only going to cost me $1000. (w/o tax) After MUCH comparison, HP really does have great prices for medium-end laptops. I have a zv6000 atm but it's too large and it's half-dead... so it's time for a replacement
Quick question: What speed is the ram? I'm guessing it's 533mhz... Also, are both sticks external or is there one external and one internal module? Those internal ones are a #$%^ to get to... -
Great decision, guys! That's gonna be a speedster-machine!
Just ordered dv2500t instead of Asus V2S-A1
