Hey everyone I just ordered my dv6tqe and I had some questions.

There are a couple of things I would like to do to it, and I want to know if they are possible.

    1. I'd like to try and swap out the optical drive and replace it with an SSD, and if possible, create an external enclosure for the removed optical drive to be used via USB.

    2. Is there any way that I could change out keyboards for one that is backlit? Does this laptop have the extra port for it?

    3. What is the easiest way to get this laptop to it's best (removing bloatware, etc) and is there a guide I could follow for this?

    4. What advice could you give me if I decide to overclock my gpu?

P.S. If you need to know, or would just like to know, the specs of my machine here they are.

    i7 2630qm
    1GB 6770m
    750GB 7200rpm
    1080p screen
High capacity battery (idk if it really is better but only $14 upgrade)
    8GB ram

    everything else standard.

BTW it came with a free xbox 360, so I'm giving it to my mom so she can play kinect games. She's in to that stuff.

Let me know what you guys think!!
