So, I've had my HP for about...a month, or a little less now. I really like it, I can't find any problems with it.

Now here's my dilemma. My one friend got an apple notebook, and I played around with it for a while, and I must say that I loved it. I love messing around in GarageBand, and iMovie seems like a better program.

He also has a dual boot thing going on, which I think is sick. You get two OS's in one comp.

Although I'm out of my 15-day return policy, would you recommend that I push HP so I can return my comp, or should I keep it?

I really like HP, but at the same time Apple seems to have everything I want.

    What do you guys recommend?

in the EULA it states that the apple OS has to be installed on apple branded hardware (guess you could put a small apple sticker on your comp :) ) If interested just google it, but on these forums we can't discuss how to do it.

I liked mac when I tried it for an hour. When I lived with it for a week, I started not liking it. I can't work on a mac for a long time because its too eye candy and not much functionality for my uses. I've gone from XP Pro to Vista to OS X Leopard and now back to XP Pro.

It is totally illegal to do that. In fact, discussion is illegal. (About OS X on a PC)

Sure you have freedom of speech. Mods have better, freedom of locking this thread down, deleting posts and banning people.

You cannot discuss anything illegal in here ( OS X IS ILLEGAL ON PC). When you clicked "I Agree" to join this forum, they nearly have full rights to what goes on in this forum regardless of 1st ammendment

To OP: You should have researched before buying a laptop. I doubt you will be able to return it back to HP.

Yeah, I talked it over with some friends, and found pros and cons on keeping my HP. There were more pros then cons, so I've decided to keep it.

Sorry for the whole OSX and PC thing.
