    Well, if you don't mind spending some time getting your hands dirty (while watching tv or something) you can work it down with a file.

    Better yet a grinding wheel if you have access to one

    I have tools I can use, so that wouldn't be a problem.
    The only problem is that I don't really know if it should be the length or the thickness what I should grind.

    Do you have the same problem, then? I wasn't sure if it's a general problem of this device, or a defect on mine.

    I've tried several kensington locks, but I still can't find any that works properly.
    The better I got was one of the cheapest, that it got locked but it was easy to remove (even locked) just moving it around and twisting it.

    How are they designing those kensington slots? Aren't they standard? Are they even testing them?
    It's quite irritating that the laptop has a slot that it's totally useless.
